How Our Dog Training Structure Works
(1/13/20 – No group classes available until further notice.)
We offer two types of group training classes: Workshop and Open Enrollment.
Workshops are sequential classes held same time and day for a period of 4-8 weeks depending on the class and they are purchased as a full series. Make ups are not done for these classes but you are welcome to purchase private training in the case of a missed class.
Open Enrollment classes don’t require sequential skills as each week is its own stand alone module. These are not drop in as we have a limit to our class sizes your preregistration for these classes is required. There is optional waitlisting when class is full. A class punch pass is purchased for these type of classes.
Initial Consultation
For any new client with a dog who exhibits behavior challenges (including but not limited too: leash reactivity/pulling, fearful tendencies, jumping or resource guarding) or a guardian that just has the desire to work privately.
During an Initial Consultation we will gather a full history and lifestyle of you and your dog. We will find out your goals and expectations. We may ask to see cues your dog can do now so we have a baseline of skills. We will show you our approach to training and what to expect from working one-on-one with us. If time allows, we will start with some key training points or management techniques. After this appointment, we will provide you with a detailed write up of our meeting and behavior modification/training plan to meet your goals. Normally provided back to client within 48 hours of Initial Consultation.
Please note we do not work with dogs that have a bite history but we will be happy to refer you to qualified trainers that specialize in this type of behavior challenges.
To reserve an Initial Consultation follow the tab to set up an account and find a time. Cost is $90 for approximately 60 minutes with trainer.
